I say leave the stronger story for publication. that's my two cents.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03946363901982045435noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2331660459075373635.post-69139354086402246462009-05-23T00:50:06.462-06:002009-05-23T00:50:06.462-06:00The fact that I'm commenting within a day proves h...The fact that I'm commenting within a day proves how often I check back to see if you've written anything. (I actually made a magik beans widget that shows if you've posted anything new). I know you want to do revisions and tightening but more than anything I'm just itching to see where the story goes. So I say continue but those are just my two cents. Anyways, regardless, it was a stirring return to MB and one I may very well quote. Congrats on your amazing GPA and accomplishments. Hope to read more from you. Read you later.Carlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15611238656734418577noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2331660459075373635.post-59420249570419598662009-05-22T12:33:32.995-06:002009-05-22T12:33:32.995-06:00Nearly a year has gone by since the last episode. ...Nearly a year has gone by since the last episode. I wasn't even sure what I was writing about when I came back to look at the draft of this episode, which is why we've jumped to Appolo's appearance. I have NO idea what Andrew was about to ask Jack.

I've also had nearly a year to consider all that I've written so far, and contemplate changes to make the whole project tighter. I can't decide which is better to do - start over again with the major revision, or save that for the published version and keep going with the story I've told so far.

No major plot changes, but I realized I had a bloated cast and some unresolved threads which need tying.

Anyhow, it felt very odd to post this, and I don't even know how many of you will be back to see it. I hope I haven't lost you all, and while I can't guarantee weekly, I can guarantee much better than a yearly episode.

I finished my year of coursework, and it nearly killed me mentally and emotionally. I was working full time as an instructor as well, so it was an Academic Marathon. I got a 3.9 GPA, and I've got some good prospects for publication of my research in journals, so I'm currently in a very exciting space. Yet my mind never stops thinking about Magik Beans. So I'm glad to be back.

Give me some feedback Beanfans... what do you call someone who digs Magik Beans? Hmmmm. I want to know if you want me to continue with the episodes, or start over with a stronger story. I'll still build the other in the background for potential publication, but I'm glad to just keep writing what I've started in the meantime.Mike Perschonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09335943113292616702noreply@blogger.com
